Generate, approve and schedule posts

Create social posts for each platform, approve a draft, and schedule it on the calendar.

Generate a post

  1. Open Create Content (/dashboard/brands/<brandId>/generate).
  2. Pick a platform and a theme, or write your own prompt.
  3. PostKing returns options. Edit the one you like.

Other ways to start:

  • Write your own: save finished copy as a draft, to one or several platforms at once.
  • Repurpose: turn a URL, pasted text, an article or an existing post into new posts.
  • Bulk: fill a date range with posts.
  • Reddit: match content to relevant subreddits and rewrite it natively (/dashboard/brands/<brandId>/reddit).

Approve and schedule

A generated post is a draft. Approving it sets the date and time it goes out.

  1. Open Posts (/dashboard/brands/<brandId>/posts).
  2. Open a draft and choose the time. Times use the brand timezone.
  3. Approve. The post appears on the calendar.

To move a post later, reschedule it. To stop it going out without deleting it, cancel it.

Free plans can generate and preview, but scheduling and publishing externally need a paid plan. See Plans and credits.

Weekly schedule

Weekly Schedule (/dashboard/brands/<brandId>/weekly-schedule) sets a recurring cadence: which platforms, how many posts per day, and at what times. When enabled it generates posts ahead of time, which you review and approve. Pause it any time without losing the configuration.
