Custom domains for blogs and pages
Add a domain, verify DNS, and connect it to a publication or landing page.
You publish a blog or landing page on your own domain. Domains are managed per brand.
Add and verify a domain
- Open brand settings (
/dashboard/settings/<brandId>) and go to Domains. - Add the domain, for example
example.com. - Add the DNS records PostKing shows you at your DNS provider. For a domain PostKing serves, that is an A record that points at PostKing and a TXT record that proves ownership.
- Choose Verify. DNS changes can take a while to propagate; retry if the check fails.
Connect it
- Blog: connect a verified domain to a publication. You can serve the blog at the root, or at a
blog.subdomain. The subdomain is its own domain entry and needs its own DNS record. - Landing page: connect the domain to the landing page. See Landing pages and domains.
Self-hosted option
If your own servers will serve the pages, add the domain as self-hosted. Verification is then the TXT ownership record only, and the domain keeps pointing at your infrastructure. A domain and the publication or page it serves must use the same hosting mode.
Limits
Free plans can preview but cannot connect a domain. The number of domains depends on your plan. See Plans and credits.
Removing a domain does not delete your content.
